Our Dancers are Reaching Out to Give Back!

Our dancers are hardworking, graceful and talented. They are lucky to be so blessed, and to have the opportunity to develop their skills under the guidance of experienced professionals. Realizing how fortunate they are, and being aware that not all children share their blessings, these young dancers and their parents at Pacific Festival Ballet formed an organization they call 'Reach Out!'

These great children work throughout the year to raise money, and then with the help of parent volunteers and staff at PFB, every summer they put on and help teach ballet and dance camps for underpriveledged youth. The Chamber Ballet also performs at area schools, and our fabulous Nutcracker is performed at a reduced rate for 2,000 school children and 50 elder care home residents.  PFB regularly performs at the Beaverton Public Library in Nov.

We take great pride in these dancers and their personal growth. As talented as they are on the dance floor, the children of Portland Dance Academy share a great gift of compassion and love for other children. The drive and zeal wth which they turn their good intentions into tangible contributions to better the lives of those less fortunate than themselves is a blessing to us all.
